Please share a little bit about yourself. What are some things you really enjoy doing?
Whitewater canoeing and kayaking (30 yrs, 20 as an instructor and whitewater slalom competitor, best trip was paddling the Grand Canyon in a tandem canoe) Sailing (50 yrs, 10 as a competitor in small boats, last 20 yrs in large boats, last 5 yrs as bareboat captain, best trips have been sailing the English Channel three times and Great Lakes trips to Mackinac Island) Skiing (40 yrs X-country and downhill, 5 yrs as X-C competitor, best X-C trips in CO Tenth Mt and WY Teton backcountry) Music (I sing with the U. Wisconsin Choral Union, a 170 member auditioned chorus singing major classical choral works; have played piano, guitar, and French horn)
Have any favorite athletic activities?
When not canoeing, sailing, or skiing, I'm hiking, skating, orienteering, biking, swimming - anything to avoid work.
