“It felt like I was nearing the top of the world today.  The view was brilliant and my body felt more powerful with every step.  Our guide Tom Milne, checked for crevasses along the way.  He marked the route with flags in case the weather deteriorates on our return.  We traversed the narrow ridges and walked like kindergarteners held together by a rope.”
