of Africa. Our adventure begins with a climb of Mt.
Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa. Crowned by eternal
snows, the mighty Kilimanjaro (19,340ft) is the highest
free-standing mountain in the world and dominates its
landscape unlike any other mountain. Located in Tanzania,
this extinct volcano looms over five eco-systems and large
game reserves and is certainly one of the world's most
impressive sights. The terrain is nothing short of dramatic.
Climb with me! Following our climb of Kilimanjaro in
Tanzania, we begin a four-day safari to the spectacular game
parks of Tanzania. Throughout the safari, we lodge in
luxurious hotels and travel by Land Cruiser across the Great
Rift Valley, travel into the Ngorongoro Crate, visit the
Tarangire River National Park and Serengeti National Park,
following wildebeests, lions, and other indigenous wildlife.
We end our life changing journey with a spectacular hot air
balloon ride, and witness the breathtaking sunrise over the

Our Kilimanjaro distinguished medical team of neurologist Dr.
Monique Giroux and Sierra Farris PA-C, work hard to improve
the quality of life for those living with Parkinson's
Disease in communities throughout the northwest. As part of
their mission, they have created a virtual Team Parkinson's
Kilimanjaro, allowing others with PD to set physical goals
in their own lives. As a follow-up to our actual Kilimanjaro
MS/PD climb, members of the Kilimanjaro 2011 team will
participate in a panel discussion, giving the audience a
glimpse of what it is like to climb beyond our limits. Join
