Through her mountain climbing, Lori hopes to
raise awareness of MS, and how it challenges those afflicted
with the disease in many different ways. Lori’s case,
though mild now, was scarred by numbness and vision
deterioration during the past 10 years since her diagnosis.

Lori joins the international group of MS Societies from
around the world, as they meet to discuss plans for next
year's World MS Day. Lori will address the group and
share her experience on Everest. Lori carried the
first ever World MS Day flag to the summit of Mt. Everest in
2009, becoming the First Person in the World with MS to
Complete the "Seven Summits", as well as the First Person in
the World with MS to Summit Mt. Everest. Plans are
underway for next years World MS Day, so stay tuned!

50 mile walk through beautiful Door County, WI, and captures
the spirit of overcoming life’s obstacles. Mountain

climbing those mountains that we all face in our daily
lives, and summiting our own personal Mt. Everest.
