Hiking among the giant grizzlies of Kamchatka, shooting the rapids of rivers in China, traveling alone through the nameless peaks of Alaska's Brooks Range, award-winning writer, photographer, and speaker Jeff Rennicke has lived a life of adventure.

His travels and poetic stories have been chronicled in more than two hundred magazine articles in such publications as National Geographic Adventure, Backpacker, Reader's Digest and others twice winning Gold Medals for Excellence from the Society of American Travel Writers. He is the author of ten books including Treasures of Alaska: Last Great American Wilderness and Jewels on the Water: Lake Superior's Apostle Islands. His storytellingstyle has been featured in programs across the country and he has been s a lecturer for the National Geographic Expeditions program.

As a photographer, Rennicke brings a poetic and storyteller's eye to his work. His landscapes, portraits, and abstracts have been widely-acclaimed and have appeared in such publications as Reader's Digest, National Geographic Traveler, Living Wilderness, Backpacker, and many others.
